Customer Service
- Directs and oversees all aspects of an organization’s customer service, objectives, and initiatives
- Provide overall leadership and accountability to marketing and other departmental owners for Customer Care issues, service level monitoring, and new product deployment
- Responsible for defining the functional requirements and business processes necessary to establish a dedicated call center
- Coordinate implementation of call center architectures and requirements essential to launch, run, and scale the business
- Responsible for vendor management including issue resolution/escalation and planning.
- Coordinate development of training materials either internally or via vendor
- Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impacts, and solution development discussions
QA
- Responsible for planning and directing quality assurance for all company products
- Directs and controls assigned QA functions, including software engineering quality assurance and testing
- Establishes quality standards and sets operating, costs, and quality goals for the department
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the organization's quality assurance department to ensure that products meet all quality standards:
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities within the quality assurance department and responsible for the development of the QA Team.
- Interfaces with Project Leads, Analysts, Development, Support Teams and Executive Management to gather technical product information, understand product functionality, communicate test results and resolve quality issues.
JBilling
- Responsible for defining the functional requirements and business processes necessary to establish a dedicated billing system
- Works with billing developers and product design to develop design, scope and other documentation, to insure development in a systematic manner meeting milestones and deadlines.
- Works with other management to develop realistic milestone and timelines.
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Also works with Quality Assurance to help in the development of test cases, regression testing and code review.

Job Summary
The CTO will guide all aspects of technology development, from evaluating and selecting the appropriate technologies to the formation and day to day management of a team of engineers. The CTO will participate in the complete product development lifecycle, providing technical direction and architectural oversight of the engineers. In collaboration with the CEO and the Executive Management Team, the CTO will determine key initiatives, strategies, and operating plans necessary to execute upon goals.

Job Summary
The CTO will be instrumental in building, guiding and managing the technical development for the studio. The role will require hands-on coding initially and ultimately give way to more of a management position as the team is built. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist programming skills and a solid understanding of next gen/PC game architecture. In addition to strong management and leadership skills, the CTO will be a proverbial “jack-of-all-trades” as an engineer, but master of at least one or two.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on coding in C/C++, among others, in the development of a PC/Next Gen game title
- Build, manage and mentor a team of engineers
- Develop project schedules and manage the development to meet deadlines on time
- Identify and resolve engineering and personnel issues
- Overall technical direction for the studio
- Provide direction for and the implementation of the game architecture with a solid understanding of how all the moving parts work together
Attributes
- Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
- Must possess the ability to successfully communicate with Artists, Designers and Sound Engineers
- Must possess strong general computer skills and experience (e.g. working knowledge of MS Office, e-mail and Internet applications)
- Must possess the ability to write code for any aspect of a game
- Must possess a hands-on knowledge of basic game design and implementation
- Must have in depth understanding of gaming industry hardware and software trends
- Must possess up-to-date console product knowledge including technical submission requirements and knowledge of burning equipment

- Broad, generalist knowledge including: interface, gameplay, database, architecture, graphics, audio, AI, etc. - looking more for a jack-of-all-trades…but master of one or two (It doesn’t really matter which ones…as long as he/she also recognizes his/her weaknesses in order to build out a team with that knowledge)
